I have 16 month old who has pretty much been on antibiotics most of his life. Tummy stays distended and he goes from bouts of constipation and diarrhea, never normal. Mom has been hit and miss on probiotics.

I noticed on her patient history form that the child has sweaty feet that requires socks to be changed often and his feet always stink.

For some reason, I think I recall reading this could be another symptom of Candida overgrowth and given his history of antibiotic use with virtually no probiotics and a SAD, he seems at risk for both Candida and C-Diff.

Do you have any feedback on this symptom?

      Thanks,

      Liz

        Liz,
Candida can cause all sorts of strange reactions. I have seen this too along with other ‘odd’ body odors. Although I cannot say that this particular issue is 100% only correlated to candida, based on his history it is logical to move in that direction regarding testing and treatment.
