Hi.
Don’t know if this is an appropriate topic…
3 year old boy in florida (vacationing from toronto) got a sun burn despite wearing sunscreen.
What could be the cause?Rita,
The Florida sun is VERY intense. It is not uncommon for people coming from northern latitudes and going to Florida and getting sun fried. This happened to my son a few years back. He ended up developing a severe allergic reaction with redness and welts over his body. Sunscreen helps, but not 100% in everyone .Dr. Woeller
