The comment about Food IgG being totally invalid is completely incorrect. However, what needs to happen is for testing of Total IgG, and not just IgG4. If a lab is only testing IgG4 than this type of test can be considered invalid since IgG4 is a blocking antibody against IgE, and it is an immune recognition marker to food, but it does not indicate sensitivity.
