Hi, I would love your help with the following OAT for a 12-year-old autistic boy 100lbs with anxiety OCD, and a strange body odor. He is taking a B complex and Fatty acid support.
The following Results came back High
      Lactic Acid 98.42 ( < 50.41)
      Adipic acid 8.22 ( 0,04-3.90 )
      3-methylglutaric acid 1.77 (0.75-0.76)
      Hippuric acid 773.64 ( <607.01)
      HVA/VMA 1.92 (0,74-1.88)
      Hva/Dopac 8.83 (2.60-8.30)
The oxalic acid was at the very top of the range 109.49 ( 6.17-110.52)
All yeast and mold markers well in range.
      Plan
lower oxalates in diet, calcium with higher oxalate meals start a gentle probiotic eg Probiotic support formula, add in B6 3omg/d and Mg Threonate 100mg/d increase water intake.
start Mito support would MitoSpectra be ok at a lower dose say 4 caps/ day as contains vit C or should I do L-carnitine and CoQ10 separately?
would you be suspicious of mycotoxins even though the markers did not show up? Would you add anything else? Thank you in advance Alison

        Alison,
Yes. Do the MycoTOX Profile. One reason is the high lactic acid.

Strange body odor? What kind of odor? Can the parent describe it?

Thanks, do you think mitospectra would be ok with regards to the vit C content with the slight oxalate problem?

I’ll ask the parents to clarify the body odor.

            Alison,
The MitoSpectra should be fine to use.

            Sincerely,
            Dr. Woeller
