I’ve come across info that discusses issues with hair metal analysis and excreation issues in kids. Your lecture implies that an elevated hair level means an elevated whole body level and a low hair element signifies a low whole body mineral level Could you clarify this, are their any nuances to be aware of in regards to this?

It wasn’t my intent to imply that. Unfortunately, there is no perfect test so all things need to be correlated clinically. This is especially true in heavy metal problems. One thing is for sure is if a child’s levels are high they have definitely been exposed, perhaps ongoing, and likely have a high toxic load. The problem is we just don’t know how much is left behind.Dr. Woeller
