Hi, I am just finishing a Clostridia clearing protocol on a 21-year-old non-verbal autistic adult. He has been gluten and dairy-free for 15 years. His mother is asking me if she can use Colostrum to heal his gut. I currently have him on Mega IgG2000. I have always stayed away from colostrum because of the likely dairy contamination. What are your thoughts what products do you use? Thanks

        Dr. Byrd,
It really depends on how sensitive an individual is to dairy. In my experience, these colostrum products are okay, particularly if they have been off of dairy for a long time. I would think after 15 years the use of IgG colostrum would be okay. They often are helpful overall, so I personally would not be opposed to trying it.

        Sincerely,
        Dr. Woeller
