Scott,
Methyl-B12 can help significantly.
Causes – at least that seem plausible, although some are difficult to prove:
-methylation dysfunction
-brain inflammation, i.e. generated by injury, cross-reactivity to food proteins or pathogens.
-elevated peptides to gluten and casein
-autoimmune reactions to the endothelium within the temporal lobes
-seizure disorder
-essential fatty acid imbalances and/or other nutritional deficiencies
-poor neurological development in speech centers and/or motor pathways
Treatments – I wish I could say each worked 100%
-Methyl-B12
-Dimethylglycine, trimethylglycine
-L-methyl-folate
-essential fatty acids
-L-carnosine + zinc (see Carn-Aware)
-hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT)
-Respen-a (homeopathic reserpine) – will be talking about this later in the course
-increasing Total Cholesterol
-treating underlying infections
-gluten and casein-free diet
-Speech therapy and physical therapy
