    Hi Dr. Woeller.

I just started working with a 6 year autistic boy. His family had some extensive blood work done about 3 years but got overwhelmed and have not done much in the way of treatments since. Do you think it is necessary to repeat the blood work or should I just assume things have stayed about the same since not much treatment had happened. He was showing elevated copper and low vitamin d. I can send you the labs if you like. I did order an OAT for him and a hair metals test. Maybe the hair will give an idea of current copper levels?

    Thank you!

      Rebecca,
Three year old blood work is quite a while ago. However, much of it is likely the same or similar. Personally, at this point I would move forward with OAT and hair metal (unless you see something glaringly wrong on the blood test) information and then look to repeat blood testing down the road in a few months.

      Sincerely,
      Woeller
