Hi Dr. Woeller,
Just received an email from an overseas mom in Singapore whose child has had an OAT test with several abnormal results, and would like me to manage his care. My malpractice requires me to see the patients before I prescribe any treatment. How do you manage overseas patients?
Thanks so much,
Shiva Hebroni
Shiva,
Is it a problem to provide lab interpretation and ‘suggestions’ for supplements. No prescriptions, but general suggestions of what others have done with in similar circumstances (and labs). In this capacity you are working more as a health consultant versus the prescribing/managing practitioner.
