    Dr. Woeller,
I am seeing a 2 yo boy with speech delay, toe walking, severe drooling. No ASD dx yet. OAT showed really abnl acetoacetic and 3-hydroxybutyric. Never had it this abnl. Anything except treating the yeast/clostridia and the usual mitospectra (or similar mitochondrial support). All have chromosomes pending but not really sure what to look for when I have those results. Hair analysis seemed not that remarkable.
    Thanks!!

      Jessica,
You are right in the hair analysis looks pretty good.

The OAT doesn’t look good from a bacteria and clostridia toxin standpoint. These chemicals are likely causing the mito and fatty acid imbalances. The high acetoacetic and 3-hydroxy are likely coming from gut dysbiosis. I would treat all of this first and provide some mito support than look to retest in 60 to 90 days.

      Dr. Woeller
