    Aloha Dr. Woeller,
Do you use an MRI for diagnostic purpose. Angelica’s doctor wants to run one, with dye, to check for any possible problems that might be contributing to behaviors.

      Christina,
I don’t commonly, but that doesn’t mean they cannot be useful. There can be some anatomical abnormalities that can contribute to behavioral problems. I would suggest following your doctors recommendation as they are obviously seeing something that concerns them.

I’m wondering why the contrast since the Gadolineum is so toxic? I always tell my clients to ask for an MRI without contrast. I know in some cases its necessary but often its not. I can’t see how adding more chemicals and heavy metals to a compromised person can be healthy?

        Valerie,
This is something they need to discuss with the ordering physician. I don’t know enough about all the possible anatomical defects/problems that this doctor is entertaining and whether contrast could be avoided.

I agree and understand what you are saying. Thank you
