      Christina,
I am currently in the process of re-evaluating my suggested approach to HBOT. It’s such a large topic and so much conflicting information now I have been reserved in getting into specifics.

My preference would be for individuals to do hyperbaric in a clinic setting through a hard chamber that provides a variety of atmospheric pressure ranges and oxygen concentration. If this is feasible I suggest people with autism pursue 40 one hour sessions done at least 5 times per week with 100% pure grade oxygen at 1.5 ATA. This would be considered HBOT.

There are home inflatable chambers too that go to 1.3 ATA and concentrate atmospheric oxygen from 21% to 24%. This is an option too, but clinically the results are not a profound early on. Also, the chambers are quite expensive even for rental purposes and without oxygen concentration (which according to some organization creates a potential fire risk if not done properly – probably overstated though) has subtle effects.
