Have you used GcMAF or Bravo probiotic in your practice and what has your experience been? Do you check nagalase levels in kids?

    Thanks,

      Scott,
The lab that provides this test is quite inconvenient to use – unfortunately. However, with that said it can be a useful test. My experience over time was every child I tested for Nagalase had a level between 1.2 to 1.8. I never saw a normal level, or a level above 1.8. Therefore, If I could get the lab done I would do it. However, there are parents who proceeded with GcMAF and Bravo Probiotic without testing and then did the test sometime later. Overall, both products have been useful. Some parents report great results, i.e. better bowel function, more attention. Like a lot of things I had some non-responders too. I think it is a useful therapy for some obvious immune dysfunctional kids, but not as an entry point intervention for most.
