      I have a new referral that I have not yet seen, so I do not have a full patient history, just the DX of 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.

      Mom does share in an email that child has following challenges:

      Constipation
      Gas
      Growth delay
      Constant runny nose
      Drainage from ears

      Child is 16 months old. She was referred to a GI doctor who removed dairy from diet as a trial run for one month.

      I know what to do with GI…But, would this child also benefit from an OAT test?

      I am not familiar with this genetic disorder.

        Liz,
        I have not treated anyone with this disorder, but with the short list of issues I would definitely do an OAT, as well as a Food IgG test from Great Plains. To me it is all about trying to optimize potential and health.
