Has anyone seen very high nickel on a provoked urine metals test (it’s an adult but with no unusual exposures that we can identify). What are common sources of nickel?
Thanks!
Jessica,
Mining and steel manufacturing are common sources. So are cigarettes and I would suspect second-hand smoke. The source is likely environmental.
The attachment is for Nickel from a Hair Analysis. I don’t personally think it is a major player in health issues for most people.
